Teal (J & L Inspired)

My brother and his fiance’ are getting married a week from Saturday, and I’m so excited to be heading up to WA to see them on Wednesday! The colors of their wedding are teal, black, and white, and they are also going to use the same colors in their home. SO… I thought I would do a Josh and Lalaina inspired post! Hope you enjoy! =) Read The Rest

The Bed (Part 1)

We got the grey bed spread and the European shams (in a set), and the white throw, at the foot of the bed, from Ikea. Well, actually, my  parents bought them for us for Christmas. I absolutely love it! It’s very obviously not finished yet. We still need the headboard, pillows, and a bed skirt for the bed itself. After the bed is done, I guess it will be on to painting the walls, getting new nightstands and new dresser, then accessorizing! But, this is a start!

This is some left over material from my living room curtains. I'm think about making two small pillow for the bed out of what's left. What do you think??

Fabric Flowers and Headbands

There are some really cute headbands right now! I love all the fabric flowers that people are using, not only on headbands, but on pillows and clothes and all kinds of things. They looked like they might be pretty easy to make, so I googled… and look what I found! Two great how-to videos on youtube. So I tried it out and made a headband. I think it turned out pretty cute. What do you think?
