Finally! New project reveal!
YAY! It’s finished and I can finally put the pictures up! Several people have posted about making and upholstering benches, chairs, etc… so I figured I would try my hand at it. DIY Purse Flower Tutorial
This brilliant idea came from a friend who is helping me and several other ladies make accessories for a Fall bazaar. I know you’ve seen those purses with a huge flower right on the side of them. Busy, Busy, Busy
This week has been crazy! It seems like there has been a something major going on every day! We finally got done painting the kitchen, living room, and hallway. We’re going to take a break and get all the other things we have to do this week done before we start on the bathroom. I’m hoping to get some pictures of the dining/kitchen area and the living room up tomorrow. We painted one wall in the living room black and white stripes and it looks amazing! Every time I see it I love it even more! I can’t wait to see what you guys think. =) PLUS… I found the perfect fabric for curtains in the living room on Ebay and the price just can’t be beat! Hopefully I’ll get a little extra money this week and I’ll be able to buy it. I’ve been looking everywhere for a black and white damask print… and here it is.
Don’t you think it will look amazing in the living room?? Wait till you see the black and white wall… it’s going to be great and I’m so excited! I also thought I’d show you a picture of the rug I want for the living room. I picked it out at Ikea about a year or so ago. One of these days….=)
I was going to get the 5’7″ x 7’10″ because it’s only $179, but I think I’ll save up and get the 8’2″ x 11’6″ rug ($299). I think it will look even better, bigger! =)
