Bathroom/Vanity Storage Idea

Most people keep a bottle of hairspray in their home, and more often then not the lids get lost or tossed before the hairspray is even gone. Sometimes I will fine a ton of lids after I’ve already finished the can of hairspray off and thrown it away! Crazy how that works… Read The Rest

Old Magazines

Confession time…. I can’t stand to throw away magazines! Thankfully thank look good on a bookshelf, so I don’t feel too bad hording them. Every now and then I’ll pull one out and go through it, and I did so last night. I came across some pages I had torn out to keep that I’d forgotten about and decided to share them with you!

These are some great ideas for decorating with wallpaper.

‘After decorating her daughter’s bedroom, Elizabeth Mayhew just kept going: She used the remnants to cover books, line shelves, and make place mats.’

Here’s a closer view.

1. Give your dresser drawers a lift by lining them

2. Wrap notebooks and an empty soup can for decorative desk accessories.

3. Cover old shoe boxes for stylish storage.

4. Slip a cutting into a store-bought frame for instant (and inexpensive) artwork.

5. Laminate equal-size swatches to make a set of place mats.

What do you think of this bed idea?  I love the way they used the material!

Bathroom Idea 2

After all the painting we’ve already done… I’ve been trying to see if there might be an easier, but still really cute thing to do in the bathroom that doesn’t involve painting the whole bathroom. If you checked out the pictures, you know that the walls are a taupe/tan color. Anyway… I have come across one idea I really like and I already have some of the things I would need to do this. Check out these really cool walls decorated with empty picture frames!

I used this idea in my kitchen a while back and painted all my frames black. I still have the frames I used and I think I’ll keep my eye out for a couple new ones. If I go with this idea, I think I’ll paint all the frames white and add some white wooden accessories and an over the toilet storage cabinet. I think it would turn out really cute. All my towels could be white and tan. What do you think? Do like the idea? What suggestions do you have for pulling something like this off?

So, I love clothes… really, how can you NOT love clothes?? This website (www.eShakti.com) is amazing! They have a great concept for their company. Their slogan is ” We design. You customize.” Almost all of there products are customizable which I think is awesome! Things you can adjust are sleeve length, skirt/dress length, neckline, and so on. They also have some really cute clothes. I’m really drooling over a few pieces right now! Check them out below! I’d be adding some sleeves and such, and I LOVE that I can do that!

They even have some really cute accessories! Check out this headband and clip. Too cute!

Fabric Flowers and Headbands

There are some really cute headbands right now! I love all the fabric flowers that people are using, not only on headbands, but on pillows and clothes and all kinds of things. They looked like they might be pretty easy to make, so I googled… and look what I found! Two great how-to videos on youtube. So I tried it out and made a headband. I think it turned out pretty cute. What do you think?
